Distribution Asset Wildfire Performance Project 180.006

As wildfire risk continues to increase, electric utilities must design, operate, and maintain distribution infrastructure with a greater focus on ignition prevention, wildfire resilience, and post‑fire recovery. This project will conduct targeted R&D to identify and evaluate materials, technologies, and operational practices that reduce wildfire ignition risk, improve infrastructure survivability, and support effective inspection and restoration following wildfire exposure.
